The Department of Energy is proposing to provide funding to the Economic Opportunity Studies, Inc. to assist local and state Weatherization Assistance Program organizations. The funding would expand and diversify private sector partnerships and improve service coordination with related state and local energy and affordable housing partners. The proposed efforts would increase the size and impact of the federal Weatherization Assistance Program using non-federal resources and partners. Project activities would include analysis, stakeholder engagement and development, dissemination of best practices and tools, and techniques for attracting non-federal resources to the Weatherization Assistance Program.
