The steam preheating coils for the 234-4H air handling unit (HVAC-AHU-53.006) have been damaged due to water hammer leading to the replacement of them. In order to rid the system of water hammer, the condensate lines will be resized to 2-1/2" to match the coil's outer size. Per design guidelines for steam systems, condensate lines should not be reduced after the coil until after a steam trap
