Southwestern Power Administration is proposing to upgrade the Doniphan Substation located near the town of Doniphan in Ripley County, Missouri. The work within the existing substation would include, installation of a new prefabricated control building, prefabricated battery building, gravel roadway and parking area, 161kV power circuit breakers, 191kV disconnect switches, 69kV relays, transformer relays and controls, and electrical and communication conduits.
