The City of New Martinsville proposes a targeted set of electric distribution system upgrades designed to significantly enhance grid reliability, operational adaptability, and situational awareness for critical community infrastructure. The proposed project consists of three integrated components:1. Replacement of three (3) existing, end-of-life electric reclosers with modern automated reclosers, 2. Replacement of deteriorated distribution line segments serving the New Martinsville Wastewater Treatment Plant, and 3. Installation and configuration of new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software and associated communication hardware to enhance the City's existing system and enable real-time monitoring and remote operation of distribution assets.
