CX-035774: Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) at Ghent Coal-Fired Generating Station

Kentucky Utilities Company will install a SCR system to its coal-fired Unit 2 at Ghent Generating Station. The SCR system will be capable of reducing at least 90 percent nitrogen oxides with a 2-ppm of ammonia slip to maintain compliance with evolving ozone standards, increasing the unit's capacity factor by at least 20 percent, and preserving the unit’s full summer capacity rating.
