The goal of the project is to research, develop, and demonstrate a Unified Power Flow Transformer (UPFT) with integrated power electronics enabling dynamic voltage regulation, improved power quality, and transformer state-of-health (SOH) monitoring. The transformer will only be demonstrated at a test facility in Mt. Holly, NC.
