Claverack's BESS-integrated microgrid will directly benefit at least three feeders serving the Steinbach substation. The battery system will use a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with low fire risk housed in a modular, skid-mounted design deployed on a greenfield site the size of a standard parking space.
