The reconductoring project will take place in the alley between Allen and Hickman Street, spanning approximately 1,800 feet, and involves upgrading the existing 3-phase No. 6 bare copper conductor to a larger 336 MCM ACSR conductor. The voltage level is 4160/2400 Y. This will require replacing any poles or cross arms as needed to support the heavier line, including the pole near Casey's before Highway 22, which will be restructured with switches to simplify rerouting power.
