The 1st Cycle Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) manufactured by Quantum is now considered obsolete. The replacement plan involves relocating the Safety Significant (SS) I/O signals and interlocks to new SPA2 Safety Logic Solver controls. The Input/Output (I/O) controls for General Services (GS) and General Services - Critical (GSC) systems will be migrated to the Distributed Control System (DCS).
