CX-035177: University of Colorado, Boulder - Achieving 1 percent Assay of Special Nuclear Materials in 2 Minutes with Microcalorimeter-Array Gamma-Ray Spectroscopy

This Fourth Amended Determination follows the approval of additional funding, extended period of performance, a new project team member, and additional project milestones to support one project team's small-scale research and development activities to further advance their high resolution gamma-ray spectrometer to deploy in nuclear reprocessing facilities for enhanced operational awareness and nuclear safeguards under the Converting Used Nuclear Fuel (UNF) Radioisotopes Into Energy (CURIE) program. Specifically, the project team will fabricate, test, and validate their full scale sensor prototypes for future manufacture and production.
