The City of Corwith plans a comprehensive grid resilience project that includes replacing approximately 158 wooden poles, 100 percent of crossarms, pole attachments, and transformers will be replaced to accommodate voltage upgrade.  Tree trimming will also be done to meet National Electrical Safety Code (NESC).  The City also plans to complete a voltage upgrade and change the configuration from a 2.4 kV delta configuration to a 12.47/7.2 kV wye type system. Lastly, new reclosers will also be installed to improve safety and allow for separation of the system for outages.
