An underground storage tank was discovered near Site 12 during excavation for the Kautz Road Construction Entrance. The contents of the tank were sampled and tested, and it's believed this was a petroleum tank for the Site 12 farmhouse that used to sit at this site. Due to environmental contamination concerns, this tank and any contaminated soils must be removed to proceed with construction of the Kautz Road Construction Entrance.
