The existing standby power system is original from the 1950's and has reached the end of its expected life. The standby diesel generator and fuel tank will be replaced with a modern diesel generator, fuel tank, and controller. The Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) was replaced in the late 2000's and will not be replaced under this scope.
