CX-034789: Organic Synthesis for Preparing Metal-organic Framework Linkers

The overall scope of this R and D activity is to carry out organic reactions to later be used in developing new semiconductor materials. Organic molecules will be prepared using traditional organic chemistry techniques and purified using liquid-liquid or acid-based separation, column chromatography, recrystallization, and/or filtering and drying. All work will be performed in a chemical fume hood.
