Original scope: This work conducts R and D scale processing and testing of various Pyrotechnic Effect (PE) materials in support of multiple WFO programs with specific requirements. This includes the evaluation of various blends and forms of PE materials for reaction rates and effectiveness. These activities include storing, mixing, blending, reacting, heating, curing, pressing, grinding, extruding, and testing small quantities of experimental blends of PE materials.
