The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to Porterville Unified School District to install high-efficiency light emitting diode (LED) lighting at six schools and direct digital building automation systems (BASs) at seven schools as well as replace older heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment with high-efficiency, all-electric HVAC systems at three schools.
