The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to eight (8) projects selected under the Solar Energy Technologies Office Fiscal Year 2023 “Operation and Planning Tools for Inverter-Based Resource Management and Availability for Future Power Systems (OPTIMA)” Funding Opportunity Announcement (DE-FOA-0003034). The following awardees would produce software tools for utility engineers and control room operators that would help them plan, monitor, and control renewable energy resources connected to the bulk power system.
