BPA proposes to fund the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) to implement the Murderer’s Creek Juniper Harvest Project in Grant County, Oregon. Due to historical grazing and fire-suppression practices Western juniper has increased its range and encroach into areas in higher densities becoming a nuisance species, which is negatively impacting more desirable native vegetation and hydrological functions (groundwater and hyporrheic flows).
