The following elements are to be funded under a five-year Cooperative Agreement between the Tribes and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE): salaries (some fully, some partially funded) and benefits for emergency response personnel (Director, Emergency Management Coordinator, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, Emergency Management Coordinator Tech/ Assistant); travel related to emergency response education and networking; equipment and supplies for the emergency operations center (EOC); and contract/consultant services to assist with technical communications.
