CX-021680: R and D Welding and Brazing Sample Preparation and Activities in Bldg. 723-A and 716-4A

The Materials Compatibility and Welding Technology group presently houses three electrical resistance welding stations, two self contained lowpower laser welding stations, an electron beam welding vacuum chamber station, a semi-automatic GTAW, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, station,induction power supply for brazing, and vacuum and conduction chamber furnaces for heat treatment and brazing, all within Building 723-A.Induction brazing will also occur in building 716-4A.
