This EEC covers the operation of the AccuTOF-DART time-of-flight mass spectrometer. Investigation of inorganic and organic chemicals on the surfaces of various samples including paper, swipes, biota (leaves, grasses, needles or wood), carbon fiber mesh, glass/quartz fiber mesh, and polymer membranes will be determined by placing the sample within the Helium or Nitrogen stream of the DART which ionizes the compound and directly injects it into the AccuTOF mass spectrometer.
