The Process Science Analytical Laboratory (PSAL) provides analytical support for the Process Science and Engineering Department and other SRNL organizations as requested. PSAL provides analytical services for nonradioactive R&D activities which support the SRS Tank Farm, DWPF, Saltstone, Hanford, and other offsite customers. Analyses activities include sample digestions, density, pH, cation and anion analyses, redox measurements, titrations, and solids analyses. Sample matrices submitted to the lab include glass, sludge, slurry, wastewater, cement, soil, and coal.
