The U.S. Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration Office of Experimental Sciences, proposes to continue to fund research associated with the National Laser Users' Facility program. The National Laser Users' Facility program provides access to the OMEGA Laser Facility at the University of Rochester for University/industrial scientists. The OMEGA Laser Facility is maintained and operated for National Laser Users’ Facility participants by the University of Rochester Laboratory for Laser Energetics for the Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration.
