The aim of this work is to quantitatively examine the reactivity of common hydrogen storage materials to environmental exposures of air and heat. The bulk of the testing will follow procedures outlined in the United Nations “Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods.” Additional tests will be designed as necessary to further the analysis of the material environmental reactivity.
