Miller Machine will be used to assess the erosion characteristics of materials. Miller number, weight, and volumetric loss rate can be determined. The Environmental Evaluation Checklist covers the use of sand/water for verifying the operations of the Miller Machine. Testing using slurries other than sand/water will be covered by the Environmental Evaluation Checklist associated with those activities.
