CX-017650: ASO-CX-350 Conduct Land Survey of U.S. Department of Energy Property and Grant Easements to Forest Preserve District of DuPage County and to Construct and Operate a Parking Lot

The Department of Energy-Argonne Site Office proposes to grant an easement on real property of Argonne National Laboratory, to the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County. The U.S. Department of Energy would maintain ownership of said property. In turn, the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County seeks to build, operate and maintain suitable parking lots on Argonne property, in order to ease vehicle congestion and enhance safety for individuals accessing the Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve. This Environmental Review Form is being completed to document the known condition of the property prior to the execution of an easement agreement.
