CX-017532: Building 9204-2 Annex Demolition Project at the Y-12 National Security Complex (Y-12) (NEPA #4779)

The purpose of this project is to demolish the Annex to Building 9204-2: a 3,500 square feet, one story, concrete block structure (45 feet x 70 feet x 12 feet) that shares a common wall with the facility.  The Annex is located on the northeast corner of Building 9204-2 – located on the underside of the penthouse.  This demolition will facilitate Y-12's ability to address the structural integrity of the penthouse area - to allow for inspection, structural repair, and shoring of the steel structure supports (floor of the penthouse).
