The Department of Energy proposes to site, construct, modify, and/or operate small-scale support structures. Siting and construction activities would generally be limited to small facilities and support structures, such as parking areas and storage facilities, that are within or contiguous to an already developed area. The construction of waste management facilities would require additional National Environmental Policy Act review.
