Corrosion testing is routinely performed to support Savannah River Site facilities, including the tank farm, Defense Waste Processing Facility, H-Canyon, L-Basin, and K-area Complex, as well as for customers within the Department of Energy complex. Corrosion testing involves metal and material samples exposed to solutions for long- and short-term periods (minutes to months).
