The air handling unit (AHU) in building 701 at the Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC) has reached the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced. In addition, the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) needs to be moved to provide additional floor space in room 119. The proposed action would replace the AHU-2 in room 119 and the cooling unit (CU)-2 on the roof. The new AHU would be located on the roof, and a rooftop curb would be installed. Ductwork and electrical connections would be modified to support installation of the new equipment.
