The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) proposes the installation of an irrigation well at the Crackerneck Wildlife Management Area and Ecological Reserve adjacent to Skinface Pond. The purpose of the well is to enhance fish habitats and populations by providing a supplemental water source for Skinface Pond during drought conditions. Well installation will be contracted by SCDNR and conducted according to SCDHEC irrigation well standards.
