The proposed activity involves an upgrade to the Gamma Isotopic Counter (GIC) located in the KAC MC&A Instrument Room inside the Material Storage Area (MSA). The upgrade will provide a track system on the GIC that will allow the detector to be moved in the horizontal direction relative to the 9975 drum being measured to achieve optimal measurement statistics.
