Texas A&M University proposes to conduct separate effect tests in a realistic wire-wrapped fuel assembly geometry for advanced reactor coolants and develop an experimental database with high spatial and temporal resolution measurements of the flow needed for validation of NEK500 advanced computational tool, and perform simulations of the experimental cases to be compared with the experimental data.
