July 7, 2014Replace ETP Reverse Osmosis (RO) Cooling Towers (CTWs) and Add a Chemical Addition System
CX(s) Applied: B1.5
Date: 41827
Location(s): South Carolina
Offices(s): Savannah River Operations Office
Proposed activity will replace ETP reverse osmosis (RO) cooling towers (CTWs) and add a chemical addition system. The current ETP RO CTWs which cool the ETP RO processing stream are severely degraded due to age and limited availability of replacement parts. Further, the existing CTWs do not have corrosion inhibitor/biocide addition capability which has led to current degraded system condition.
