Additional groundwater characterization is needed to delineate the extent of groundwater contamination to the East of P Area in shallow groundwater units and in the deeper aquifer unit near the P-Area Reactor Seepage Basins. Upon completion of the groundwater investigation, additional groundwater wells will be installed for future monitoring of the groundwater.
