Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory proposes to test-to-failure 4 diameter by 10 foot length fiber-wound composite vessels using water. The vessel would contain 500 gallons of de-chlorinated water and be pressurized to approximately 7000 pounds-per-square-inch using compressed air.
