The University of Wisconsin proposes to study corrosion resistance in advanced materials, testing of new diffusion bonded heat exchanger technologies, development of O2 detector, and fiber optic temperature measurements to help improve safety margins and design flexibility critical to improving the performance and economics of liquid metal cooled reactors.
