As part of Modular Caustic Side Solvent Extraction Unit (MCU) operations, the switch to a new, improved solvent formulation will happen in the August-September 2013 time frame. When the new solvent is prepared at MCU, samples will be sent to Savannah River National Laboratory for analysis and Extraction-Scrub-Strip testing.
