The California Center for Sustainable Energy as part of its Golden State Solar Impact project would use DOE and cost share funding, as part of the Rooftop Solar Challenge II Cooperative Agreement, to leverage the knowledge, experience and relationships developed by California participants in Phase I Rooftop Solar Challenge to eliminate market barriers and reduce the soft costs related to the deployment of solar energy at the local government level.
