The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to Optony, Inc. Optony would deploy the Sustainable Energy for business Districts model to address China's surging urban energy needs and greenhouse gas emissions via a district-level energy efficiency and renewable energy and smart grid technology deployment strategy to inform project implementation and public policy development.
