The U.S. DOE is proposing to provide federal funding to the Hawaii Department of business, Economic Development (DBEDT) under the DOE's American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 State Energy Program (SEP). DBEDT proposes to use approximately $250,000 of DOE SEP ARRA funding to establish a SEP Loan Loss Reserve Program, which would be administered by a third party Loan Loss Reserve administrator.
