Sampling of the soil vapor extraction (SVE) wells at the Western Sector Dynamic Underground Stripping System (DUS) has been routinely performed by Area Completion Projects (ACP) Operations personnel since 2005. The purpose of the present sampling is to identify candidates for abandonment or to switch from active to passive SVE operation.
