Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. Conduct energy efficient retrofits to county buildings—retrofits would include direct digital controls to county facilities, investigate connecting facilities to a web-based controls monitoring system, add “smart” local controls, upgrade aging primary controls, add night temperature setbacks and other energy savings strategies; electrical upgrades; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning upgrades/replacements; building envelope improvements which include door seals, weatherization, insulation, air curtains; and solar tracking sky lights, solar hot water heaters, and compactor with photovoltaic panels.
