Western proposes to remove vegetation under its existing Saguaro-Tucson 115-kilovolt transmission line, within Western's existing right-of-way between Structures 5/3 and 6/3 in Pinal County, Arizona. We plan on using existing access roads to the vegetation removal areas. Western will be using a front-end loader with a cutting & shredding attachment to remove the vegetation. This work is necessary to maintain the safety and reliability of the bulk electrical system.
