Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. 1) Conduct an energy audit of all city facilities, 2) energy efficiency retrofits at city buildings including: replacing failed and leaking steam traps at the Public Library; conducting lighting retrofits at the Public Museum; replacing fans and pump motors at the Safety building and Public Museum; installing occupancy controls on vending machine operation at several municipal buildings; replacing plumbing fixtures at City Hall, Public Museum, Water Distribution, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Safety Building, Transit Building, and Fire Stations 16, 17, 18, and 19; lighting upgrades at Water Distribution Plant, City Hall, Water Treatment Plant; replacing pneumatic controls for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems at City Hall, Safety Building, Public Museum, and Senior Center South; lighting upgrades at Safety Building, Fire Stations 15, 17, 18, 19, Senior Center, Senior Center North, Fire Station 16; and sealing air gaps and penetrations of buildings through caulking, sealing, weather stripping and potential window replacements at City Hall and Safety Building.
