Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. 1) Development of an energy efficiency and conservation strategy (ongoing), 2) conduct energy efficiency audit (completed) of and installation of energy efficiency retrofits for the Federal Way City Hall, 3) support replacement of city-owned vehicles with hybrid and/or electrically-powered vehicle, 4) development and implementation of a rebate program for qualified energy efficiency improvements and conduct educational energy audits for commercial and residential buildings, and 5) update the city traffic signal timing plans.
