Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. 1) Development of an energy efficiency and conservation strategy (ongoing), 2) technical consultant services, 3) retrofit the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration systems at the Mike Modano Ice Arena with more energy efficient systems, 4) retrofit the HVAC system at the Bailey Recreation Center with more energy efficient motors, dampers, and frequency drives, 5) replacement of the boiler at the Police Station with a more energy efficient boiler, and 6) implementation of an incandescent light-bulb trade-in program for low-income households.
