Pleasant Grove City, Utah proposes to use federal funds to create a renewable energy source from community waters. Specifically, the City proposes to design, test, install, develop and document a micro hydro-electric system. The proposed site is near the mouth of the Battle Creek Canyon where the city's water supply is stored. Public outreach and education activities are also proposed.
