This determination form provides the results of evaluating potential impacts related to routine monitoring of groundwater and extraction wells and actions related to well sampling, such as taking water level measurements. In addition, various maintenance activities may occur as scheduled and unscheduled actions. These may include remediation system upgrades or repairs, the installation or repair of site fences, potential repair of equipment related to the treatment system, and replenishment of sulfuric acid and sodium chloride as needed for the treatment system. Various administrative actions were also considered and include awarding and managing subcontracts for technical support, gathering information (to include site visits), and holding meetings with the Navajo Nation and other governmental entities as appropriate. Negligible impacts were found to be associated with these routine site activities.
