Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. 1) Hire a consultant to do a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) audit on Public Works Building, 2) hire consultant to do audit of city water system, 3) provide residential energy loans to residents, 4) provide energy loans to businesses, 5) purchase and use biodiesel fuel in city vehicles, 6) hybrid vehicle acquisition, 7) street light retrofits (north side), 8) street light retrofits (south side), 9) conduct energy efficiency and conservation strategy and educational exhibit, 10) conduct lighting retrofits at Evergreen Underground Garage, 11) replace boiler in city?s public building (Teen Center), and 12) conduct lighting retrofits at Municipal Parking Garage.
